I don't see how it could, since hair grows at the roots. But i've heard that it does, is this true?! I need to know cause I curl my hair almost everyday.

no. i use a curling iron every day and have for the past several years. It doesn't make it grow any slower, but without the right moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, it will cause damage if your not careful and use it too much. split ends are bad! The best curling iron to use is an ION ceramic one. Those are actually good for your hair.
