What are the best protective black hairstyles to grow hair?

im looking for any new style that will grow my hair without putting stress on it. i have micros right now and im going to take them out soon and im wondering what style to do next. i've done traditional weaves that sew tracks on cornrows but i think they put stress on the hair. any other weaving techniques or any other styles?

Protective styles are braids, twists and buns. If you have braids are you cowashing (conditioning only). CHECK OUT THIS SITE BLACKHAIRMEDIA.COM they are all about growing healthy and long hair. You will so much about your hair, vitamins, shampoos, conditioners. Also, learn the baggy that is using a plastic bag on your hair..after you learn the right oil and then find a moisturizer to lock it in.

well u can do cornrows without sew in weave just use regular extensions, and don't braid tightly, or u can roller set your hair. an afro would work just fine

Kinky twists are a good way, but personally I wouldn't wear them because there kind of big and short. Senegalese twists, on the other hand, a gorgeous to me. They give the same results but you can get them smaller and longer like micros.

first, you shouldnt use any additional hair at all...

i just took out micros not long ago and i want my hair to grow back to its natural length...

the best way is to leave your hair alone or just get your own hair cornrowed or in some other natural braiding style..

you could twist your natural hair and wear it like that but make sure you dont let sit to long because it could loc up and then your stuck...

whatever you do, make sure you get your ends cut once a month!!
