Get a trime once a month. don't go to someone who is going to hack it off every time you go in. I trim the very ends of once a month myself. it keeps the damage to a minimum.

there is no cure to make hair grow fast, it takes time for hair to grow back but in the mean time look on the bright side

I'm a guy. I don't know a heck of a lot about hair care. I just wanted to say that I get my hair cut once a year. Every time my hair get to a certain length, it developes split ends. Every time. Don't know why. I wash my hair daily. The split ends don't develope until my hair is about 5 1/2" long. And it only splits in a small area on the back of my head. I don't like the feel, it feels rough.

As far as speeding up the growth, I don't think there is a way. Each of us has our own genes which control this. I think the overall average for all people is 1/4" per month.

Well keep having a trim every now and then. Don't just let it grow because it will look dry and split at the ends...but don't have it cut too often or too much off each time...I would say every 8 weeks ?? It will grow quicker than u know, x x
