For the love of all that is sacred, do not get a Jheri Curl! Those things are seriously bad for your hair. They work by weakening the hair coil with chemicals and then heating it to make a permanent curl. After the treatment, you have to buy *boatloads* of activator to keep it "nice". And whenever more hair grows, the old hair breaks off! From the experience of someone who was subjected to childhood Jheri Curls, do not put this stuff on your head.

Have you ever thought about treating your hair well? Hair doesn't grow quickly- it comes at it's own time. You cannot make it grow faster to suit your desires.

You can, however, treat both your hair and scalp well. Make sure you wash and condition regularly, massage your scalp once a week, and if you're black, stay away from hair grease. The stuff just cloggs your scalp. Think about something that is good for both your skin and your scalp, like olive oil.

As a hairstylist I am sorry to tell you this but jerry curls, braids, vitamins, etc will not make your hair grow any faster. Everyones hair grows only about a 1/4-1/2 an inch monthly naturally and you cant hurry up nature.

No Jerry curls do not make your hair grow. Everyones hair grows at a different rate and there isn't really a way to make your hair grow faster. If your hair is coarse then try getting it braided. Just try keeping it up so you don't have to pull on it and make it break off.

As "Daisy" said....there is absolutely nothing that you can do to make your hair grow faster. It will grow at it's natural pace no matter what you do. If you want it to look longer while you are growing it out, then I would suggest the braids. Just make sure that you take them out once in a while and have your own hair trimmed, healthy hair looks better, no matter what the length is!
