Do prenatal vitamins really help your hair grow faster?

I have heard that by taking prenatal vitamins, even if you are not pregnant, it could help your hair grow faster. I am not sure about this and I was wondering if anyelse has done this. I am scared to try it just yet because I have also heard it could make your breasts grow. I certainly do not want that.

Zinc, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Biotin, %26amp; Amino Acids along with a few other vitamins are very important in healthy hair growth. Prenatal vitamins are high in a few of these vitamins which does make it very good for hair growth. All the other vitamins are very good for you as well.

As far as making your breasts grow. I have never heard of that ever!

Another thing that you may want to know...there are some really good products specially made for hair growth. A really good one is called "Shen Min". It has just about every vitamin known for healthy hair. Not only will it help your hair grow but it helps restore your hair back to its original form (color, thickness).

Another thing you could try is "main and tail" shampoo %26amp; conditioner. it is very good as well. i use this a few times a week to help my hair grow faster.

Parental Pills are very good for you no matter how you look at it %26amp; they will help your hair grow. An actual hair growth formula (like shen min) may be more of what your looking for, plus you wont have to worry about your breasts getting any larger!!

Yes it does make your hair grow faster, it helped me when I was trying to grow it out. I didn't notice much breast growth, but maybe it's different for other people.

If prenatal vitamins contain protein, then yes, I can see how this would be true. Keratin, which makes up your hair and fingernails, is a protein. Eating a lot of protein-rich foods accomplishes the same thing.
